After not really liking Gates in the first book and seeing some complaints about his immaturity in this, I was hesitant to pick up this book but decided to give it a try anyways. Gates is a 40 year old man who was extremely immature. Instead of having an actual conversation about his feelings like an adult he instead pranks Tallahassee to try to express his feelings. Everything about Gates was annoying and he acts like he is a teenager who can’t express his feelings, which I hate. I honestly want to just yell at Tallahassee to kick him out and force him to sign the divorce papers and move onto someone healthier.
