I was pretty disappointed by this novella. It promised Finch’s story between the two books and the reason why he did what he did in book 1.
But I found that the book really didn’t give us much and doesn’t give us more information than book 2. It wasn’t really worth reading and normally I love more world building and content (especially with intricate worlds like in Hazelwood).
I just wish the novella delivered on its promise.
