Loki: Agent of Asgard #1 by Jenny Frison, Nolan Woodard, Al Ewing, Lee Garbett

5.0

It's taken me a very long time and a very 180° journey to become a Loki fan, but this issue feels spiritually like the predecessor of the Loki we see in his eponymous TV show -- one simply sick, heartsick, of always being the bad guy. There's a difference between mischief and evil, little lies and big lies, and this issue gives us a Loki who is really banking on that difference mattering. Plus, the Wicked lyrics were delightful and the art is gorgeous.
