I heard about this book through YouTube and I thought the plot was so interesting I wanted to see whether the Colleen Hoover hype was worth it, and I get some of the hype based on her books. I thought the characters were amazing, it's nice to see characters in books that like books because you can kind of see yourself in them in a way. The struggles with insecurities, especially when that affects how people perceive you, is also something that can be kind of inevitable and I liked that this book brought that to life. I liked that by the end those insecurities weren't on her mind anymore because that's what I wanted to happen.
Honestly, by the end though, the book kind of bored me, I think that might just be a me-problem because I was either tired or reading the book very late at night. I liked that the twist was very shocking and I was glad I didn't predict it. I think I just got to the point where we saw Fallon read Ben's book and it got kind of boring for me.
Moderate: Death of parent, Fire/Fire injury
