General Comments: A superb introduction to Cassandra Cain; touching on themes of: Self-Discovery, Relationships and Personal Choices. All the detailed illustrations and meticulous colouring add emotion and effectively convey movement. The cast of characters is widely diverse in Race and Ability; without a shadow of a doubt, it is an interesting re-telling of Cassandra Cain’s origin.

Favourite Quote: ‘Good, Evil, Hero, Villain – these aren’t things people just magically become. They’re choices people make.’
