I am so glad Mal's story got told. In my many years of being an obsessed Beatles fan, Mal Evans has been around in the background as the lovable and devoted roadie - and he was that, but this book shows the greater depth of that as well as the demons that haunted him and the scope of love he had for his family, for the band, for rock music, and the effects he had on so many people he encountered. This was an absolute joy to read and I HIGHLY encourage any fan of the Beatles to add this to your TBR and follow through. It's a wonderful tribute that will leave you smiling.
