what a fucking miserable novel lol.
i kinda understand why this book speaks to so many ppl and why it's part of the literary canon however i do prefer more dark comedy and less heterosexuality in my misery. i also despise generational novels as i'd rather a novel that reads like a play. that's just a personal taste tho.
i did give this one star after just reading it though the more i think about it, the more i do appreciate what emily bronte is trying to do.
