Once Upon a Crime by Michael Buckley, Peter Ferguson

The change of scenery breathed new life back into this series. New York City makes a nearly perfect setting for urban fantasy. This entry further opens up the world while bringing in in even more characters (although I wonder about the inclusion of certain characters like Ebenezer Scrooge and Oz based on the timing of when the Grimm brothers brought the characters to the US.) I love how each new character as well as the older characters played a role with some transitioning out of the macro-plot. I also appreciated seeing some (hopefully permanent) growth in Sabrina.
