I’m a HUGE Buehlman fan, but think this might be one of the most lovely books he’s written. Which feels like a strange thing to say when the subject matter is mostly horrors and death and disease and suffering.
But it’s beautifully written, a lot of passages worth reading again and again and savoring.

The characters feel real, which is something he’s exceptionally skilled at. Will be reading again and again.
