The Lost Hero / The Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan
Rick Riordan sure loves his solstice deadlines, doesn't he? And starting series off on field trips that go terribly wrong.
But I digress. This was good. I like the new cast of characters a lot, but it's still nice to see the old ones sticking around as well. The third person PoV also helps make the book seem a little less juvenile, which I hope is the case for the rest of the series as well. Jason is the type of leader Percy should have been. Strong start.
