Phenomenal. It’s been a good while since I have read a classic horror. Usually I’ll gravitate toward more of the ghostly, supernatural stuff — but this novel was absolutely perfect. It’s brilliant to come across writers in modern-day that can achieve all of the nodes attributed to a classical piece of work. Upon finishing the book, all I can think about is how I hope my gothic horror professor will come across this one and add it to the syllabus. Those would be some lucky students.
