The Titan's Curse by Rick Riordan

4.0

Oooh it's hard to rate this one. It started off so good and it slowed down and got a little confusing in the middle. But I still think I'm going to push it closer to a 4 rather than a 3. I still love all the mystery surrounding all the kids with the prophecies, even though I could guess most of the twists pretty early on. The pegasus was a little strange, because I don't remember it when it was referenced from the second book. It felt kind of thrown in there to help drive the plot. But I still thought Blackjack was adorable.

Overall it was still a fun adventure and a great kid lit. I wouldn't say it's profound or one of my favorites but I do enjoy the characters and I'm curious for the next installment!
