I liked that we took this adventure with a new set of characters. It was fun being introduced to a new protagonist and getting a different perspective on the world.
Loved the villain stealing the Ocean Explorers Club as a method of taking the adults out of the story! Fun & creative!!
As always, the world building was excellent. I wanted to visit Jaffes, and have a mermaid ice cream, & ride a water horse. All delightful!!
Krakens are misunderstood, not monsters. Very cool, love to see that more explored. Also, Jai's obsession with plankton had me LOLOLOL!!
Genie should totally open a hat shop!! I found myself wanting one of her signature hats through the entire tale.
Super cool plot twist: that our "EVIL VILLAIN" was actually protecting the nation of Pacifica, and -by freeing them- our heroes actually endangered it!! Loved it! I did not see that coming!
Can't wait for Pirates Cove!!
