Red Waters Rising, Volume 3 by Laura Anne Gilman

5.0

So, on one hand, I really hate that this series is a trilogy. There is SO MUCH going on.
On the other, I love that it's a trilogy, it's covering a specific time (Isobel's road apprenticeship) and it was a great ride.

This book was easily my favorite. Isobel has so many questions. She (and we) both learn so much, and are left with more questions. The world is roiling and she has to find a solution to a problem she doesn't understand/can't figure out, and honestly probably can't fix forever.

I hated the ending. I loved the ending. Kudos to the author.
