I really enjoyed this memoir. Phuc is raw and vulnerable and shares more than I think most would be willing in order to tell his story and educate people about what it was like coming over from Saigon and adapting to American culture in the 80s and 90s. I feel grateful to have been able to hear his story, and wish to one day hear about his adult life.
