I’m not exactly sure what I read, but it made me feel, and I liked it. This book was like a fever dream. A fever dream that evokes melancholy, grief, and loneliness. Beautiful and confusing, but that could be on purpose. Art imitating life?
The writing was unique making it truly special. Filled with descriptions that are contradictions and oxymorons. Perhaps representative of the setting/back drop. Nothing is black and white. We exist in a world of grey and unknowns.
