Dukes Are Forever by Bec McMaster

5.0

Did we love this book? Well, yeah. It's the conclusion of a series so we can't say all that much about the plot without spoiling it. But we can promise you that these two dumdums trapped in a loveless marriage are soon going to discover that there's no reason it has to be a cold one!

You see, the Duke of Malloryn (who’s supposed to be super smart) learns that his wife has been flirting with another man. (Oh yeah, and that guy is an enemy agent!) Even though Malloryn's made it clear that Adele shouldn't even expect their marriage to be consummated, he's jealous. He won't admit it, though, determining instead that the most likely reason that an enemy spy is sniffing around his wife is because SHE’S a spy, too, instead of, oh we dunno, trying to plumb her for information about Malloryn instead?

But it’s all good because our favorite spymaster decides that this is the perfect excuse to seduce his wife.

25-Word Summaries:

Meg: A spy is sniffing around your wife. Do you: A) Investigate her?; B) Freeze her out?; C) Seduce any info out of her? [C, DUH]

Laine: Adele accidentally (ish) tricked Malloryn into marriage, which was consistent for a man who has sworn off love and decided to be everyone's dad instead.
