I still don't know how I feel about Jess having a kid, but I appreciate the aspects of motherhood that are mentioned. I love that she is still her badass self and a hero and whilst having a baby has made her more empathetic it hasn't completely taken away from her character. I also love her friendships with everyone. I'm excited to see where the rest of this series goes.
