Did not finish book. Stopped at 30%.

I‘m quite upset about this one. In theory this had everything I want from a book: female friendship, small seaside town, a bit of romance and it is set in Wales. So why did I have such a hard time? It just couldn‘t grab me at all. After 10% I had to switch to the audiobook because whenever I thought about picking the book back up I couldn‘t. The audiobook didn‘t help a ton. It all felt more like chore and was starting to put me into a reading slump. In the end I quit because of sheer boredom. I just didn‘t care about any of it. I might pick this up again in the future, but for now i call it quits.
