A Holiday for Homicide by Devon Delaney

mysterious medium-paced

3.0

Thank you Beyond the Page and NetGalley for the DRC of Holiday for Homicide!  All opinions in this review are my own.

I like that I didn't feel like I needed to read the previous books in the Cook-Off Mystery series to read this one, however, I don't think I will be continuing with the series.  While I like the cooking competition frame, my biggest complaint is that the mystery didn't start until 20% into the book.  For a cozy mystery, there is a lot of backstory before getting into the actual mystery, especially one so far along in a series already and one that is only about 200 pages.
