Really interesting book - a sci-fi dystopia with elements of court politics. I’d been reading a lot of books lately where the dialogue was lacking, and the dialogue in this was a breath of fresh air. Good banter, and the characters are thrown into plenty of tense, emotionally charged situations where their arcs develop naturally. If there’s one complaint I have it would be that I wasn’t too invested in the romance, even though I really like Rax as a character. But if the idea of a more graphic Hunger Games set on a space station appeals to you, I would definitely recommend this.
Graphic: Child abuse, Suicidal thoughts, Torture, Grief, Death of parent
Moderate: Confinement, Drug use, Sexual violence, Vomit, Trafficking
Minor: War
