I despise superheroes in general and will not watch any Marvel/DC movies at all, but I genuinely loved this. It's so different from what I always assumed graphic novels were like, and the panels of talking heads bickering on the news are genuinely timeless. Honestly cannot believe a 29-year-old wrote this considering the wisdom cheekily woven into a story that on the surface is just about a superhero past his prime.
