Staring at the Sun: Overcoming the Terror of Death by Irvin D. Yalom

5.0

I started reading this book a year ago, but stopped because it trigerred feelings of death anxiety I did not know I had. Someone close to me suggested I take a pause on it, and I did. When my grandmother passed away last week, I decided it was time.

Eye opening, challenging, and beautifully written. Yalom urgers the reader to stare at death, "the sun", while discussing ways death anxiety manifests. He then discusses ways to tackle death anxiety. Recommended to therapists and lay people alike.
