A Peace to End All Peace, 20th Anniversary Edition: The Fall of the Ottoman Empire and the Creation of the Modern Middle East by David Fromkin

5.0

I had a false start with this book, as it is dense and it took some work to keep track of the details (history is complex!). That said, it is essential reading for anyone who wants a foundation to understand modern Middle East politics and conflicts. Highly recommended.
