The Passing Playbook by Isaac Fitzsimons

5.0

Life-affirming and lovely. The characters are all richly drawn, and Spencer himself felt not at all like the type of blank-slate YA protagonist to whom things happen to and around, but a real, complicated person who has a temper and is sometimes a dick, but is also brave and learns and makes things happen for himself. I loved the support network that slowly builds around him, and it was a joy to see his teammates have his back. I just felt really good reading this.
