The Wonder Boy of Whistle Stop by Fannie Flagg

4.0

I listened to this via my Libby app, and I enjoyed the telling. I love listening to Fannie Flagg books, as she's always the narrator of her own work. Occasionally I found it more difficult to follow the time jumps than if I were reading a printed version, but it didn't really hinder the experience. Though it lacked some of the charm of "Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe," I loved stepping back into this place with these characters. Definitely a "comfort read" for me, which is just what I was looking for.
