This was a fantastic read with lots of twists and turns! An unsolved disappearance is brought back into the spotlight when a missing girl’s car is found in a lake. The story follows several characters (including the boyfriend, the new deputy, and an organized crime boss half a country away) as threads are pulled to unravel the mystery of what happened to Alison Lane. 

This book really kept me turning the pages (well, swiping the kindle screen) and up late. It was fast paced and really well told.
