Great sequel to The Warded Man. Does require more thought and dedication to the world (as a sequel should, I think!) - there is a glossary in the back for terms specific to the Krasian society Brett created. It does get a little annoying to constantly flip back and look up certain terms if you cannot remember them or if they're brand new and just sprinkled throughout the exposition. But it's not necessary during the entire book, so I'll forgive it.
