I liked this book, and it strongly reminded me of Eyes of Silver, Eyes of Gold, even though the plots weren’t similar.

I really liked Wolf and Mary, but I wanted to see more of their interactions. Also, I really liked Joe and the occasional scenes from his POV – I definitely want to read his book, if he gets one.

I wasn’t too sure when this book was happening, but it seems to be around 1980s as it mentions that Wolf was sent to Vietnam and the town’s attitude was very racist, although that doesn’t necessarily mean it was in the past.

The plot was fine, but I wanted to see more scenes where Mary and Wolf do things together, and I wanted to see more of their interactions with others.

I can’t wait to continue with this series.
