Even taking into account the fact that I hadn't read the previous books in the series, I didn't particularly love this graphic novel. ..Emphasis on graphic; Fever Moon is hyper-sexualized in every conceivable cheesy way: busty blonde heroine works with her gruff, on-and-off again, overly-muscled boyfriend to save the day. The plot was engaging, and the art was vivid and bright, but at times the illustrations distracted me from the story. Cool concepts for supernatural creatures as well.

*Warning* Sex between humans and monsters takes place, and scenes of sexual abuse are depicted and described.
