Rating coming after more tries. Five endings later and still from one branch. I'm still technically replaying this after being immersed all day. It's an easy read, peppered with pop culture references that aren't hard even for me to get. The prose isn't juvenile but it still has a v casual voice. It doesn't feel like there is a "right" way to play which is a bonus for me. I hate biased CYOA, the way video games with fake choices often are. This book doesn't seem that way so far. Plus it was cheap.

So far I've starved to death and killed a child (two different timelines). Good times.
