This is where the rubber meets the road for our boy wizard. Dumbledore finally invests some time in him. He trusts his instincts even when no one else does. (And I was pretty annoyed with R & H for not giving him a little more credit.) He makes some pretty big mistakes but he does some things right, too. He really grows up in this one, and it totally sets the stage for what is coming next. I love how he sticks by his friends even when they don't support him. His loyalty really shines.
