"Lovers turned in to strangers, and it cut deep enough to bleed"

Honestly, there are no words that can describe how much I loved this book, it is one of the best sequels I have read in my life, if not the best. I usually think that long books have more pages than what they need, but this one is not the case, each point of view, each thing said was necessary to delve into the characters and the plot. I adored this book and highly recommend it.

I already loved Juliette in the first book, now I just adore her so much more. Everything she does and says she thinks about it meticulously to protect the people she cares about. She is one of my favorite main characters in my entire life.

Roma in the first book I did not care, I liked him, but nothing more. Until this book came and now I adore Roma and his heart.

All the other characters, Benedikt, Marshall, Katheleen (Celine), and Rosalind, were developed in much more depth in this book and I am completely fascinated with what I discovered about them.

The relationships between each character were beautiful, from Roma and Juliette to Marshall and Benedikt. They were so well developed and written that I can honestly go to die in peace right now after reading them.

The end, THE END. I can't say much, obviously, but I will say that I cried and am satisfied with what I read. Hope is the last thing to be lost in this life.

"In this life they had been born enemies. In this life they had blood for miles between them, wide enough to run a river, deep enough forge a valley. In the next, maybe there would be peace"
