Girls Made of Snow and Glass by Melissa Bashardoust

4.0

This book is close to being a 5 star book. The two main characters are both complex and so different from each other, but they shine when they are together. The only part I didn't enjoy was the rushed ending. The plot makes sense, but there is a miscommunication element to the story that is resolved, but off page. I wanted to read the scenes and wasn't content was just being told everything was okay. It sucked the drama out the the end and stole the chance to read a potentially beautifully emotional scene. I would still recommend this book to anyone who loves platonic female relationships, fairy tale retellings, and standing up to controlling men.
