“I’d been waiting a long time to feel like somebody’s daughter”. Ashley Ford wrote a beautiful and heartbreaking memoir. She was honest, raw, and you simply cannot help but root for her. If there was any criticism, it would be that I wish it was a little longer and that there were more stories. Highly recommend otherwise. Content warnings include rape, family trauma, and domestic abuse.
