This book was wonderful to read. Fitzgerald’s descriptions of setting and the minds of characters is compelling. I found that love is like a cigarette in this book. Once you’ve litten it up you quench your deepest desires. You feel fulfilled. However, when it is finished, all you are left with is burnt fingertips and ashes that won’t reignite the flame that was once was.

P.S Nick Carraway was secretly in love with Jay Gatsby even if Gatsby didn’t love him back.
