From the moment I started this book, I knew it would be good! Mary pulled me in and literally had me invested in what would happen next. While I knew this would be a 5 star read, I was so disappointed by the ended and had to give it 4 stars. Compared to the rest of the book, the ending felt rushed and therefore, fell flat. I actually went back and read the last few pages again because I thought I missed something.
This is my first introduction to Tiffany D. Jackson and I absolutely love her writing style! The characters felt relatable and the flow of the story kept me captivated. I literally could not put this book down. Despite the ending to this one, I look forward to reading more of her work.
