medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Plot
Strong character development: Complicated
Loveable characters: Complicated
Diverse cast of characters: Yes

Ambrosia is the second part of the Frost and Nectar Duology.  The first book ends on a cliff-hanger, and this one picks up immediately after the first book
Characters - Ava goes through some serious sh*it in this book.  She barely survived the first book, and now she's shoved into a whole new realm with an even crazier cast of characters.  Torin pursues Ava into the other realm.  He's willing to risk his life to keep hold of Ava.  Shalini is still stuck back in Faerie, and we get quite a few chapters narrated by her that explains everything happening in Torin's absence.
Plot - The main plot is about Ava and Torin attempting to survive and escape the new realm.  The sub-plot involves the rise of a dictator in Faerie who keeps the people there miserable, frozen, and terrified.
Relationship- This book does have a few spicy scenes, but nothing over the top.  Ava and Torin are still learning to trust each other throughout this adventure.  There's some separation, pining, and sacrificing themselves to save the other.
Conclusion - I tried to listen to the 'enhanced' audiobook.  It was so distracting.  I switched over to the Kindle version and enjoyed it so much more.  It took me quite a while to finish this one.  I got stuck somewhere in the middle when the plot seemed to slow to a standstill.
