Keturah and Lord Death by Martine Leavitt

4.0

Lovely, lovely fairytale. Weaves familiar characters and plots into a strong cohesive whole. Yes, it's mostly fluff, but it is YA and it's not meant to be anything groundbreaking. This is the kind of book I ate up in middle and high school. In its defense, it's a quick read and once I started, it was nearly impossible to put down. Not a National Book Award Finalist for nothing.
