Death's Dear Beloved by Sakshi Deora

4.0

This was amazing! It was written beautifully and the imagery given was truly touching.

I loved the concept and point of view of the story. As well as the personification of time, death and the universe. It isn’t something I’ve read before and I loved it!

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first began and as time went on I found myself loving what seems the the blooming romance between Death and Skyline.

I thought it would be a light hearted but sad romance between two characters who weren’t supposed to be in love. Boy was I wrong! By the end I was sobbing while reading it.

There was only one or two “issues”. Just very minor shifts between past and present tense and sometimes some things went a little quick. Other than that it was perfect in my eyes!

I highly recommend reading Death’s Dear Beloved. It’s an amazing story about love, life, death, and finding out what true love is.
