Sick in the Head: Conversations About Life and Comedy by Judd Apatow

3.0

I read this book on a train and finished not long after. But the thing is (I'll be honest here) I skipped a handful of interviews because I neither cared nor knew who some people were. If you know the person, the interview can be funny, but it falls flat when you don't. I think seeing these would have made a more terrific documentary than reading them. I get the whole script/improv thing, but I felt really meh by the end. That's being said, go read Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, and Ben Stiller & Jim Carrey now!
