The first book had me completely unable to predict the ending, which was mesmerising enough.

This book, however, had me confidently working through the clues and yet everytime I felt I had gotten close, something throws me off entirely, and I feel like I'm back to square one. Everything coming together in the end felt incredibly satisfying, and the feeling of working the case alongside the team is addictive, in the simplest of terms.

Also, it's still incredibly Criminal Minds coded, maybe even more so in this book than in the first one, and I'm very fond of that!
