This is a historical fiction novel that is based on three women who are intertwined by Hollywood blacklisting - the actress, the sister-in-law of an agoraphobic screenwriter, and a housekeeper. The women become unlikely friends due to circumstances that become stranger and stranger. It didn't feel real to me and how these women would react.
