Oona Out of Order by Margarita Montimore

What a wonderfully creative premise. The author populates her story with colorful characters who keep you guessing as it's never totally clear who knows what when. This story started out with a YA vibe, and I wasn't sure it would hold my attention, but with Oona's first jump, that fear was quickly allayed. I listened to the Audible version, which was nicely narrated - a bit of a challenge with male and female voices along with different dialects. I loved the big twist toward the end, but I wished for more of Oona's story after the last page.

As a writer, I cannot even imagine how the author kept all her timelines and narrative voices straight. I salute you, Margarita!
