This was so well written and had so much depth. The beginning was a little harder to read because of the microaggressions Bree faced, but it felt really realistic. And those challenges Bree faced continued throughout the book. She as a character has such depth, and I even felt connected to all the other characters, so some deaths were devastating. I have a hard time following all the vocabulary in this series, both the different roles people have within the Order and the many species of demons. But I was enthralled by this book and kept coming back to it, even though it took me a month to finish. This book went farther in Bree’s growth than I expected, so I am really interested to see how the rest of the series pans out!
