The narrator for this audiobook is kind of awful. Her interpretation of an Italian accent for the heroine was just irritating. The book itself was pretty good, though one thing did slightly bother me.

Lucia was a virgin and intended to remain one until her wedding day and yet she was described in very sensual ways and was quick to initiate romantic moves towards men. Meanwhile Ian is this very uptight guy but then he takes things shockingly far in semi-public areas, twice! They both seemed to contradict themselves.

I’ll give this author another chance but won’t rush to do so.
