Fantastic book. Was engrossed in Janina and her quirky neighbours. Thought provoking, funny and sad. brought about a lot of discussion in the readalong, where I discovered there’s a film adaptation called “Spoor” and I will also be looking into ‘The criminal prosecution and capital punishment of animals’ by EP Evans, because when I read about rats being taken to court in the novel 🤯
