I couldn't put this book down!
I remember really enjoying book 1 and thankfully, book 2 made it easy to remember what happened in book 1. The world is immersive and the plot is high-action. I will be counting down the days until I can read the next book.
My only negative is that this book got a little too sentimental and "feelzy" near the end, but I'll let it pass because, again, I really enjoy this world.
I recommend this series of you want a story about magical youths that is more on the dark, gritty side.
