Legend of the Jade Dragon by Yasmine Galenorn

2.0

This book has been on my TBR pile for a while. I did not know when reading this book that is was the second one in the series. To be honest this did not bother me at all, there was not enough of bringing up the past book in this one to make a difference.

I have read other Galenorn books and have loved them this one not so much. Yes, it was a fast quick read set in Washington. By the way book set in places where I live is always a plus. I did have to say I thought it was a little flat, not up to the standards of what I have previously read from the author.

On doing a little research on the author I found out that the wrote under the pen name India Ink for a short series called Bath and Body, I read a few of those and loved them. I also love the Otherworld books.
What I think that I did not like about this book was the main character, she was to me a whiner. Always looking for someone to help her out, I do not know if this is the case in all the Chintz’n China books or just this one. I would have liked to have known more about a few of the supporting characters, Horvald, Harl, and Murray for me they seemed to be the most interesting people in the book.

I do not know if I will pick up the rest of these books or not. I might just because I like The Otherworld books so well.
