An absolutely phenomenal start to a series. Breathtaking romance entwined with stellar world building and a unique, layered magic system. Every character is fleshed out and likable even when frustrating. This book was a perfect example of masterful writing. I love being reminded why I love reading, and Reign and Ruin did just that.
